We are pleased to provide spacious, comfortable self-catering holiday homes to visitors wishing to discover, explore or simply revisit our special part of the Highlands. With two homes - Broom Cottage and Burn Cottage - set in 3 acres of their own land with an attractive burn running into Loch Shin, we can guarantee the peace and freedom you seek in spending your holiday in the Highlands.

Burn Cottage has a Four Star Self Catering grading from the Scottish Tourist Board. The cottages are identical and are fully equipped with every home comfort. Each cottage has one double and one twin bedroom, to sleep up to four adults with cot and mattress also available. The well-appointed kitchen, dining area and large living room open through patio doors to a pleasing view over the village of Lairg to Loch Shin and the hills of Sutherland and there is ample storage space.

Ideally placed as a touring centre, the village of Lairg offers a vast array of attractions on its doorstep. Opportunities for fishing, walking, bird-watching or absorbing the natural history of the area are all around. For the more active holiday maker there are pursuits such as watersports, pony trekking, squash and bowling all within 30 minutes of Lairg.

The interpretative centre at Lairg features displays on archaeology, forestry, wildlife and local history. Set amidst stunning scenery, the area offers a truly outstanding selection of golf courses, including the world famous Royal Dornoch within 30 minutes drive.
