Welcome to Strathpeffer

The village of Strathpeffer is most famous as a Victorian Spa Village and owes its growth to the discovery in the 1700's of Springs,declared in 1819 to be the most healthy in Britain.   This led to a steady stream of visitors around Europe and beyond.   The original Spa pavilion within the village has been magnificently restored after a period of disuse and now serves as a multi purpose venue for a variety of events.  Also restored is the Pump Room and is now also used as a visitor information centre.   Strathpeffer allows easy access to some of the most remote and unspoilt areas in the British Isles while only 20 minutes from Inverness City.   The west coast  (Ullapool, Torridon, Isle of Skye and Applecross) are less than an hour away by car.
