Local Wildlife

There is a bird Sanctuary on the Black Isle and red kits are often seen in the vicinity of Achbuie.   Roe deer occasionaly can be seen grazing in the field in front of the house in the early hours of the morning.   Dolphins swim in the Moray Firth and are frequently seen at Fortrose which is only 10 minutes drive away.
