Cheddar Gorge – Home of real Cheddar Cheese - visit the Dairy and Craft Village and see Cheddar Cheese being made at a factory in the heart of Cheddar Gorge. Shop on site selling cheese, pickles, and biscuits etc.
Apex Park Leisure and Wildlife Park - Covering approximately 42 acres and a County wildlife site, there are many different sections to Apex, including fishing, a skate park and many walking routes. There is a designated footpath for visitors with disablities. Refreshments available from Easter to late September.
Brean Down Bird Gardens - A small bird sanctuary with a wide range of tropical birds. Has a cafe with an extensive menu, home made cakes and cream teas.
Wookey Hole – Britain's most spectacular showcaves and home of the infamous Witch of Wookey. The 19th Century Papermill houses a fascinating variety of exhibitions including the caves museum, a film, and demonstrations of handmade papermaking, the popular Old Penny Arcade, Magical Mirror Maze and Neptune's Kingdom of funny mirrors.
Cricket St.Thomas – See over 600 animals at close range, learn more about what is being done to save endangered species and enjoy an educational and fun day out for all the family.
Clevedon – Home to Clevedon Court, a 14th century manor house. 
Bath – With its Georgian Crescent, quaint streets and many shops. A World Heritage site with Britain's finest Roman remains and over 5,000 listed buildings.
Seaquarium - Take a fascinating journey around the local coastline and out to the ocean depths through a series of themed displays. There are hands-on displays, interactive quiz trails and touchpools with crabs and starfish plus a full programme of talks, feeding displays and demonstrations.Brand new interactive touch screens and new features:Eurozone & Seahorse Family Nursery.
Tropiquaria - Somerset's most exciting Wildlife Park and much more! Also has a unique radio museum featuring the history of the radio from the 1930s. With indoor play castle and 2 full size pirate ships. Also animal handling, aquarium and shadowstring puppet theatre.
