Stromness is the nearest town at 5 miles away and the property is 2 miles from the village of Stenness which has a garage and hotel. Stenebreck is nestled on a hill overlooking the coast and from this elevated position the views are spectacular. This is a perfect location for walkers, bird watchers, photographers and families looking to enjoy the countryside.
There is an abundance of historic sites to visit while in Orkney including Scara Brae, The Tomb of the Eagles, The Broch of Gurness and St. Magnus Cathedral. There are well stocked lochs for fishing and great areas to go diving. The music scene has a thriving traditional follwing with the Orkney Folk Festival in May and other arts festivals throughout the year.
