From the gate at the bottom of the garden you cross 2 fields (the sheep are quite friendly!) and can access Camore Woods. Here there are many tracks and paths to explore, including a circular route around Loch-an-treel. Deeper into the forest is the site of a proposed amphitheatre, and further still a natural play area with dens, fort and large fixed play accessories. 

From the house walk down the drive and turn right. After 150 yards turn left into the Lochans (driving range, pitch & put and trout fishing). Walk through the gate at the end of the driving range and in 5 - 10 minutes you will be on a deserted sandy beach.

 

Turn left and Dornoch is about 30 - 40 minutes away (over the Struie golf course), turn right and you can walk all the way to the Dornoch Bridge! Which ever way you choose take a moment to observe the hundreds (maybe thousands) of birds which flock here throughout the year.
