All set for 2024, Scottish Legislation duly complied with. We applied for our Short Term Lets Licence (STLL) in September, as required, but unsurprisingly given the vast backlog the Highland Council have not yet issued it. Shouldn't be a problem as all the safety checks and certificates are in place: gas, electric, fire and energy performance. Quite an ordeal ....

Skye heatwave

It's not often it's both boiling hot and there are no midges! One or the other but rarely both. So it's been the perfect week for long walks, swimming in the sea and kayaking. Lazing in the garden and relaxed barbecues - although we do have to retreat inside by 8:00pm to avoid the evening molestation. Heavenly week!
