All set for 2024, Scottish Legislation duly complied with. We applied for our Short Term Lets Licence (STLL) in September, as required, but unsurprisingly given the vast backlog the Highland Council have not yet issued it. Shouldn't be a problem as all the safety checks and certificates are in place: gas, electric, fire and energy performance. Quite an ordeal ....
Covid-19 restrictions scheduled for easing on 15 July 2020
by Jenny Smart - 13:06 on 28 June 2020
It has been a sad period for the Isle of Skye during Covid-19 restrictions, when all tourism businesses have been closed. So unfortunate during what has been a period of glorious weather.
The good news is the restrictions are expected to be lifted on 15 July but this is not yet confirmed.
Guests should note that all bookings are subject to the Covid-19 restrictions operating in Scotland at the time of your visit, These can be viewed on www.gov.scot.
Should you be unable to stay because of those restrictions we will refund all payments made, including your deposit. However if you or anyone in your party have special circumstances that affect your booking in particular, over and above those affecting residents of Scotland in general e.g. if you are coming from overseas and may need to quarantine then we would advise you to cancel as soon as possible. If we are able to take a new booking for the affected period we would refund any payments made, but otherwise regret we would not be able to offer any refund.
